Sunday School
The children’s work at Holy Trinity is overseen by Paula Obery who is a qualified teacher. She worked in a school in North Somerset for 10 years before leaving the classroom behind to become a full time mum to her three children.
During our Sunday Service we run structured activities in groups for over 40 school aged children (Year R – 8), as well as providing crèche facilities for the very young. These groups, led by volunteers, aim to give children a quality experience that is engaging, fun and meaningful. Each child is important to us and we will ensure that each child feels welcome and included. The Sunday school is divided into several age ranges to ensure that we teach age appropriately. The younger children enjoy singing, games, craft and Bible stories and the older children craft and Bible study.
At Holy Trinity Church we believe that there is no age limit on discipleship and that’s why we aim not simply to entertain the children but hope they are attracted to a life loving and living God's word. We want to help them discover for themselves what it means to follow Jesus and become like Him. Our vision is to work alongside parents to see children become fully devoted to God and excited about what God has planned for their lives. We hope to engage children in a church they want to be a part of.
