Claude and Sue Ellerington

Claude and his wife, Sue, have been the Senior Ministers here at Holy Trinity since 1994. They have been married for over 40 years and have three grown-up children, Richard, Dawn and Steven. Their ministry experience spans 38 years and they have been at the cutting edge of pioneering new projects in UK, Europe and USA.
Although brought up in a good Christian home, Claude committed his life fully to Christ as a result of a response at a Billy Graham event at the Manchester City football ground during his early teens. He trained for ministry and ordination at the Elim Bible College. He spent a number of years as Director of Youth for Christ for Bristol and the North of England before joining the Pastoral Team for the Assemblies of God churches in Bristol. He has also pastored various Elim Churches and he was head of a UK based National Drug Education and Rehabilitation ministry. He has spent a number of years working for the Elim Missions Department before responding to God’s call as Senior Pastor here at Holy Trinity in Weston-super-Mare.

Getting married – makes me laugh all the time!
Richard and Regi Ellerington
Richard was born in 1974 and has been married to Regi for over 10 years now. They have three children Mani, AJ (Ayana Jade) and Indie. Richard met Regi when he was training for the ministry at Regents Theological College and persuaded her to leave the mountains of Switzerland to join him in marriage and ministry here in the U.K.
After spending time ministering at Renewal Christian Centre Birmingham they both felt the call to join the team here at Holy Trinity. Richard is now a member of our team of Pastors and part of the Senior Leadership team at Holy Trinity. Richard and his wife Regi are passionate about pioneering creative evangelism and, together, they develop and lead our Cheddar Church Plant. Regi is a qualified nurse, with a passion for discipleship and is also involved in mentoring teenage girls in the church.
